Hi, I'm Al-Fahami. I write these notes.
Software engineer at DXC Technology, learning computer science in the open. Codelogium is where the notes end up, written while figuring things out.
I'm Al-Fahami Toihir, a software engineer at DXC Technology. Day to day I build microservices with Java and Spring Boot, using hexagonal architecture, domain-driven design and clean code practices.
Outside of work I keep going back to the foundations: C, how computers actually work, algorithms and data structures. This site is my notebook for all of it.
I'm also a Claude Certified Associate (Foundations) by Anthropic, and I'm working toward the Developer certification next.
Away from the keyboardWhen I'm not learning about CS, I'm at the gym, in the forest, swimming, or anywhere out in nature. I love exploring new places and exchanging ideas with like-minded people.
That's usually where you'll find me, just like in the photo: visiting the Imlil waterfall, seconds before the slippery rocks almost had me slipping straight into the water.
I'm also a die-hard fan of traditional food, from home and from other cultures:
Comoros: pilau, couscouma, madaba, samboussa, futra, mhogo…
Morocco: couscous, harira, rfissa, tanjia, tajine, taqliya…
Senegal: thieboudienne (jollof rice), poulet yassa… and plenty more
If something here helped you, or you want to talk code, nature or both, reach out.
